General information

Synopsis

The devil wanted to seduce an artist into a pact. But when the artist saw that all color had disappeared from his life, he fled from the devil and retreated to a small, lonely studio to devote himself to his art. But the devil does not like to have what seemed safe taken from him. And so he pays the artist a visit. The artist must now defy evil and resist temptation.

My part in the creation

My tasks included developing a concept for the devil's "aura" and implementing it. In addition, I had to make the devil's eyes light up in one shot. Due to the fact that I was working on my graduation film at the same time, I only had limited time for this project. I started with short and simple concepts based on rough shots. My focus was on making everything as modular as possible to ensure maximum flexibility. Thanks to the procedural and non-destructive workflow, I was later able to transfer the concept to the final shots with minimal additional effort, focusing mainly on partial masking, tracking and animation.
